- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2-2/3 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/3 cup milk*
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter or margarine in small bowl. Add cocoa and confectioners’ sugar alternately with milk; beat to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. Will frost two 9-inch layers.
*For lighter flavor, use 1/3 cup cocoa.
*For darker flavor, use 3/4 cup cocoa.
