Easy Coffee Cake
Recipe from a friend.
The funny thing about coffee cake is, that there is no coffee in the stuff! Maybe someday I’ll add some to a batch, just to see if it turns out.
Batter:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Mix ingredients for Batter and put in a greased jelly roll pan (I’ve used a medium cake pan).
Mix ingredients for Topping and crumble over batter. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
