- 4 ounces bread slices
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground oregano
- A dash of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
Soak bread in water 2 to 3 minutes; add eggs and mix well. Mix with ground beef, Parmesan cheese and seasonings. Form into small balls (about 24). Brown slowly in hot oil. Add meatballs to spaghetti sauce (or mushroom sauce). Simmer as directed for Spaghetti.
