- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- One 4-ounce can mushrooms (stems and pieces are okay)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- Cooked egg noodles, buttered and parsleyed, if desired
Brown ground beef with onions; drain. Add mushrooms and seasonings; cook a few minutes longer. Add sour cream; heat through. Serve over noodles.
For extra flavor, add 1 can (10-3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup.
