Wendi’s Incredible Pie Crust
Bakery smooth crust with an electric mixer!
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
(Butter Flavor Crisco works very well… or use real butter) - 1/3 cup (approximately) cold water
Combine flour, salt and shortening in mixing bowl; beat with electric mixer until pea-sized pieces form. Add water, a little at a time; continue to beat just until all of the water has been added. Then roll to fit pan. Makes one 10-inch pie crust.
