A falling tree broke a picnic table at the south end of the park, by the river. That entire section of the park was totally demolished. More trees were down than standing.
There was another storm on Sunday afternoon (August 6) which knocked out power on the south side. Mom and Dad were without power from 2:55 p.m. Sunday until 3:15 p.m. Monday.
