Easter to Graduation, 2001 / Page 14 of 15

On June 5, 2001, at 9 a.m. there was a graduation at Franklin Middle School. It was the culmination of the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program for the sixth graders. D.A.R.E. encourages kids to stay away from drugs so they can grow up to lead happy, productive lives.

Here, the District Attorney for Rock County is speaking to the students. Behind him, seated, is Officer Jeff Jacoby, known to the students as “O.J.”
