Joe pays a man named Shawn for the snails. Shawn told us that he was from DePere, Wisconsin, just outside of Green Bay (Wendi had told him that she grew up in Green Bay) and had attended St. Norbert College. He had been a pastor for 17 years and quit “to do this ministry,” he said.
