Joe’s tree was nearly destroyed earlier this year when Shadow climbed into the pot it was in, knocking off most of the needles. We moved the tree outdoors, where it was then flooded by several heavy rains (there was no place for water to drain out of the pot). On May 9, I planted it in the back yard, hoping it would somehow revive itself, and took this photo of it at 3:12 p.m.
