NOTE: The temperature was weird on the 24th. Our digital sensor is located on the north side of the house. We also have a normal thermometer on the east side of the house, by the side door (but it faces north also). Normally they give similar readings; sometimes the one on the north side is cooler by a few degrees. But for some reason, on the 24th, the side door thermometer maxed at 83° while the north side sensor soared to 87.1°. The air actually felt warmer there, and quite stale, while the air at the side door felt fresher and cooler. Apparently the readings were accurate for the location, but I think that in this instance, the 83° reading was more typical of what may have been found elsewhere in the city.
