Well, here it is. You’re gazing at The Oo Kingdom in Version 19. On most of today’s desktop and laptop computers, this page will be in three columns; narrow your screen somewhat and it will collapse into two. Smaller still, or surf here on your mobile device, and it’s a single column… and all of this is from the same source code! Watch for the whole site to be converted in the days ahead.
UPDATE, September 3, 2011, 1:52 pm cdt: The entire Weather section has been converted to the new format.
UPDATE, September 8, 2011, 11 am cdt: I’ve made numerous tweaks to styles and scripts in the past few days. Mobile users and users of older Internet Explorer browsers will have a better experience now (including printouts without the navigation bars).
UPDATE, September 14, 2011, 5:38 pm cdt: Navigation scheme has been refined. The way is paved to finish Oo’s Picture Place, and there is one new (old) gallery up now. Some styling has been improved. Since all this required editing all of the page files, we are now in Version 19.1.

UPDATE, September 21, 2011, 3:42 pm cdt: Journal is now converted to Version 19, though the old News Archive will still need to be done.
UPDATE, September 28, 2011, 12:46 pm cdt: File names for Journal posts have been changed from numbers corresponding to posting dates, to one or two word titles which show up in the top of the navigation. Example: this post moved from journal/2011/0901 to journal/2011/version-19 (links leading to the old URL will be automatically redirected).
UPDATE, October 3, 2011, 1:05 am cdt: Styling has been changed again, to what is probably its final form (for the record, normal text in Georgia, small print in Arial or Helvetica, large headings in green Trebuchet, orangeish borders). ~ Folder names for the two picture sections up so far in Pictures 2004 (A Fresh Take on the Cats and Happy Holidays 2004) have been changed to actual words instead of numbers (links leading to the old URLs will be automatically redirected). The site version number is now 19.1.1.
UPDATE, October 4, 2011, 1:02 am cdt: Cover pages in the Weather section now include average, minimum and maximum temperatures for each month.
UPDATE, October 10, 2011, 4:48 pm cdt: Monthly weather charts now indicate that temperatures are in Fahrenheit and precipitation is in inches; the text notices to that effect have all been removed. Rainfall amounts for May through November of 2009 have been manually converted from millimeters to inches. Site version number is now 19.1.2.
UPDATE, December 5, 2011, 5:24 pm cst: Pages in the root directory (Introduction to the Oo Kingdom, Our Family, Our Cats, Useful Links) are in the new format and have been updated (some pages will undergo more changes in the days ahead).
UPDATE, February 17, 2013: Version 19 is dead, having been replaced by Version 20.
