Each of the twelve Umm! Textured Backgrounds can now be set as the background for this site. A few bugs have been fixed in other themes as well.
After fixing more bugs in the presentation themes, I have revised our site information pages and added some material on our Home page logos and greetings as well as the presentation themes. This should be the last design-related post for quite a while, as I have now completed everything. Hopefully I won’t make a liar of myself very soon.
We took Sunny to the vet this morning at 8:30. He started hissing the moment we walked through the door of the clinic, just as he did the last time we were there. Amid more growls and hisses, they checked him over. He is doing fine; he has his adult teeth in already, so they gave him his adult shots. He is good for a year.
His temperature was normal at 101.6 °F. His weight was up from last month, at 5 pounds, 9.5 ounces.
I have added another new presentation theme called Snake Island. Most themes are now working on Netscape 4, and a minor layout bug has been fixed for Netscape 7.
Our first winter storm is expected today, and the Christmas season is upon us. Look for a festive new page or two before the holiday arrives.
Joe’s enthusiasm for the Australia trip has been declining for quite some time now. He does not believe he is ready to spend 19 days 10,000 miles from home, at least not yet. As a family, we have discussed this at length, and we have decided to cancel the trip which was scheduled for the summer of 2004.
I have notified People to People of our intent to cancel, and they will refund all the money we have sent in so far (less a $90 non-refundable application fee). When we receive this money, we will promptly refund anyone who has donated toward the trip.
A new page entitled Christmas Memories is open in our Holiday section. In addition, three new pages are open in Ummamum’s Surprise.
At this point we are feverishly trying to complete Holiday baking and catch up on website content. Here is a list of what should appear in the Oo Kingdom in the next couple of days:
Later than expected, but still in time for Christmas, is the long-awaited Ummamum’s Night Before Christmas. Enjoy it, and have a Merry Christmas!
