My Umm… music CD will soon disappear from CD Baby. I am preparing to release two songs to radio and do not like the sound of the current edition. Despite much effort, the June/July release sounds no better than the local April release, perhaps worse in fact. The latest master tracks, mixed yesterday, sound much better and appear to meet modern commercial standards for audio, for the first time. They have been tested on a variety of equipment to ensure quality.
The new CD will be released on October 16, 2007 to coincide with our 25th wedding anniversary. More music may be added, and the title of the CD may change. I’ll keep you posted.
