We took Sunny in on December 5 at 2:30 for an exam and his rabies shot (it turns out that he was due Dec. 3). His weight was 13 pounds even. Everything was normal. We provided a fecal sample, which will go for all the cats. It was normal.
We had two vet appointments on December 7: Nermal at 10:30 (weight 10 lbs. 9 oz.; exam OK) and Stormy at 2:30 (weight 8 lbs. 6.5 oz.; exam OK).
Shadow passed her last exam on December 14, and they did her rabies shot. We took her home after 9 a.m. We are keeping her in our bedroom for now, until she and the other cats adjust to each other.
Wendi’s bite wounds healed up very nicely. She is finished with the antibiotic. She saw the City Attorney at 3:15 on December 14; he said he will have the citation for the rabies violation dismissed, and Wendi does not have to appear in court. What a relief!
