I (Charlie) saw Dr. Dale Miller at Riverview Clinic today at 1:45 p.m. He decided not to do the CT scan of the chest until we learn whether or not it’s pneumonia. Based on the data collected so far, he prescribed Azithromycin, a strong antibiotic, with the assumption that it is pneumonia.
Wendi wanted to schedule an appointment for herself for tomorrow because she has had a cough and other symptoms since about Monday, but Dr. Miller decided to see her now instead. We both walked out of the office with identical prescriptions. “It’s probably the same bug,” he said.
